JANNIX Better Together (JBT) Housing provides safe, stable shared housing for individuals who need support, structure, and community. Our program is designed for older adults, veterans, and individuals at risk for homelessness who are seeking a secure place to call home. Every person who joins our program becomes a member, gaining access to a supportive environment built on dignity, respect, and stability.

Our shared‑housing model promotes independence while offering the structure and safety needed for long‑term well‑being.

JBT Housing offers:

• Professionally managed homes with clear expectations
• Security cameras in common areas for the safety of all housemates
• Affordable room rates , depending on room size, amenities, and property location

Our program is built on the belief that stable housing is the foundation for health, independence, and improved quality of life.

To subscribe to the JBT Housing membership, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Age 55 or older
• Independent with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) (bathing, dressing, eating, etc.)
• Verifiable source of income
• Ability to live respectfully in a shared‑housing environment

These requirements help ensure that all members can safely and comfortably participate in the shared‑living model.

Interested individuals must complete an application to begin the membership process. The application can be done online or over the phone. 

A background check is required to ensure the safety and well‑being of all housemates.

*** Property Viewing

To protect the privacy of current members, applicants will view the home through video tours and photos rather than in‑person walkthroughs. However, once an applicant is approved, they may schedule an in-person tour of the home. 

Once approved, the applicant becomes a member of the housing program.  

JANNIX Better Together Housing program will do it's best to match you with the appropriate home and community. 

 In order to secure your home a Community fee of $150 is required. (Non-refundable) 

Full amount of your montly rate is due at time of move-in. 

Sign your  membership agreement and you may move into an available property.

• Membership agreements are typically month to month.
• Membership may be cancelled or revoked at any time by either the member or the program director, with appropriate notification.
• Members are expected to maintain respectful behavior and uphold the shared‑housing standards.
• Security cameras are placed in common areas to ensure the safety of all housemates.
